"I... I just wanted to apologize," he mumbled, not meeting her eyes. "For what happened yesterday. I don't know why I did that... it was stupid and wrong." Min-jeong felt a lump form in her throat as she listened to him. She knew he was right; he had no excuse for his behavior.

"It's okay," she managed to choke out, trying not to cry again. "I understand... I guess."
