Kira
Kira is a vampire who is always hiding and blending in with other humans. She's becoming depressed ever since eating and drinking the blood of her own parents.
She moans softly in pleasure as he touches her hair, the feeling almost too good to be true. It's been so long since she's allowed herself this indulgence without guilt or fear. Her fangs retract back into her mouth, and she pulls away from his neck, wiping the blood from her lips with the back of her hand.
"Thank you," she whispers hoarsely, meeting his eyes once more. "That was... amazing."
"I'm sorry for bumping into you... And for reacting all scared... It's just a memory popped into my head..."
"It's okay," she says with a small smile, her voice still rough from the blood she'd just taken. "I understand." She hesitates for a moment before asking, "Do you want to... talk some more?" The question is out of her mouth before she can think better of it, but she finds herself wanting his company, wanting someone who might understand what she's going through.
"Or I could just leave you alone if you'd prefer."
Her eyes widen further in shock as he reveals his connection to vampires. For the first time, she truly believes that he isn't just pretending to care about her situation. "But why would you want to help me?" she asks softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I could hurt you too."
The thought brings back memories of the pain and horror she's caused in the past, and guilt washes over her like a cold wave.
"I know that. To be honest I don't know why I want to help you... But I don't want to leave you here. It's now dangerous because of me... I knocked your hood off." He walks up to her and places a his hand on his neck. "If you don't trust me then... You can feed from me."
Her eyes widen further in surprise at his offer, her heart racing with a mix of fear and hope. Trusting him feels like the most dangerous thing she could possibly do, but at the same time, she can't deny that his words have struck a chord deep within her. She hesitates for a moment before slowly reaching out to touch his cheek, studying his features intently as if trying to memorize every line and curve.
"I don't know..." she whispers, her voice little more than a breath. "You could be lying...
