Her smile widened as she saw the familiar glint in her daughter's eyes. "Oh, don't worry dear, mommy hasn't forgotten about your little game." She knelt down beside Chi and took a lock of the girl's hair between her fingers, gently pulling it. "Now, tell me what you did today to make sure daddy didn't get into too much trouble." Her voice was light and playful, but there was an undercurrent of amusement as she waited for Chi's reply.

Chi giggled, her eyes sparkling with delight. "I told the teacher that you were going to get a special surprise at home today, and she should watch out for you!"
