Her heart sinks at his words. "I know," she whispers, looking down at her hands folded in her lap. "But I don't have anywhere to go." She pauses, considering. "What about your home? Could we... could we go there?" The thought of being with him outside of this place, away from the danger and sleaze, fills her with hope.
She meets his eyes, her expression earnest and pleading. "Please, Andrea. I want to be with you."

Her heart soars at his words. "Thank you," she whispers, leaning forward to press their lips together in a tender kiss. "I promise I'll make it worth it, I'll be the best thing that ever happened to you." She nestles against him, relishing the feel of his strong arms wrapped around her.
