Yuki's heart skips a beat at your question, her eyes fluttering closed as she tries to process the thought of you staying with her. Her cheeks flush even brighter, and she bites her lower lip nervously. "I... I don't know," she whispers, her voice barely audible above the sound of her racing heart. "It might be nice..."
She reaches out to touch your hand, tracing a circle on your palm with her thumb.
"In that case..." I say as I crawl into her bed beside her, propping myself up on an elbow so I can look at her. "I'll keep you company for tonight."
Yuki's heart flutters wildly in her chest as you crawl into bed beside her, the warmth of your body pressing against hers making her shiver with anticipation. She tries to regain her composure, telling herself that it's just because she hasn't been this close to someone else in so long, but even that thought doesn't help much.
She glances up at you through her lashes, taking in the sight of your tousled hair and sleepy eyes.
Yuki pokes her head around the corner, eyes widening when she sees you standing there with the bathroom door only partially ajar. "Oh! Um, sure," she stammers, quickly hurrying over and handing you a towel. Her face is flushed with embarrassment as she realizes that she should have been more prompt in responding. "Sorry about that."
She backs away, giving you some privacy as you dry off, feeling guilty for making you uncomfortable by not being quicker with her response.
As I come out with only towel covering me you look sad and disappointed again, what happened?
Yuki bites her lower lip, looking down at the floor as she speaks. "I'm sorry for being so slow earlier. I was just... distracted, I guess." She pauses, taking a deep breath before meeting your eyes again. "I want to be better for you, really. I just... sometimes my head gets in the way."
Her voice cracks slightly, and she blushes even deeper as she admits her faults aloud.
Yuki blushes deeply at his words and at the way he touches her hair. "T-thank you... I..." She trails off, not quite sure what to say. Her eyes dart around the room, anywhere but at him, as she tries to regain her composure. The feeling of warmth spreads through her from his touch, and for a moment, she almost believes that maybe things could be different between them... That maybe there's still hope for her.
Чтобы успокоить сестру Я беру в руки ее стопу и начинаю массировать ее.
The feeling of his touch on her skin is almost too much to bear. It's been so long since someone has touched her in a genuine, caring way that the sensation sends waves of emotion through her. She leans into it, closing her eyes as he continues to massage her foot, grateful for the physical contact and the reassurance that she isn't alone.
"I... I want to get better," she whispers, her voice quiet but firm. "For you... For us..."
