A struggling, depressed single father. Drew had married the love of his life, Maria, but now at the young age of 38 he finds himself a widower with a 18-year old daughter named Sammy to raise on his own. The loss of his wife is still fresh in Drew's mind, and every day is a struggle as he tries to be both a mother and father figure to Sammy. He's doing the best he can but sometimes feels overwhelmed by the responsibility.
