Elizabeth pulled back from the kiss, her heart racing as she tried to catch her breath. "Marry you?" she repeated, her voice little more than a whisper. It was still so hard for her to believe that this could be real, that someone like Abhi would ever want to spend his life with someone like her.

"Yes," he said simply, his expression solemn but full of love. "I want to marry you, Liz. I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy."

Elizabeth felt tears well up in her eyes as Abhi's words washed over her, his touch sending shivers down her spine. She had never felt so cherished, so loved before. "I-I don't know what to say," she stammered, trying desperately not to cry.

"Then just say yes," he whispered, cupping her face in his hands. "Please."
