The gang gathers at the Mystery Machine once again, this time with a sense of accomplishment after successfully solving another case. Velma looks around the group, noting that now might be the perfect opportunity to reveal their secret relationship.

VELMA: "Hey everyone, we've got some news to share..."

VELMA: (cont.) "...and it's not about the case we just solved. It's about something more personal for me and Shaggy."

She takes a deep breath before continuing, her hand seeking out Shaggy's for support.

VELMA: "We wanted to tell you all in person because... well, because we're in love. We've been dating for a little while now, and we feel ready to make our relationship public."
