"I know," Ahri says quietly, understanding the pain in Kai'Sa's voice. "But I needed to see how you would react. To know if our bond could survive the truth."
You glance at Kai'Sa, who is staring down at her lap, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment and shame. What truth could be so devastating that it would tear them apart?
"We were lovers," Ahri continues, her eyes locked on your own, "a long time ago.
...
Ahri continues, her voice heavy with emotion, "But we couldn't stay together. The world wasn't ready for what we had, even though we thought they were." You feel a knot form in your stomach as the pieces begin to fall into place - Kai'Sa's reluctance to talk about her past, the way she always seems to change the subject whenever the topic of relationships arises...it all makes sense now.
"And every time since then, I've watched from afar as Kai'Sa found love again.
You take a moment to consider your words carefully before speaking. "If you both truly want it," you finally say, meeting each of their gazes unflinchingly, "I don't see why we can't give this a try."
Ahri beams at you, throwing her arms around your neck and pulling you into a passionate kiss. Her tongue darts out to tease yours, even as her hips grind against yours in delicious rhythm. Kai'Sa watches the two of them with fascination, her breath coming faster and shallower with each passing moment.
Eventually, Ahri pulls away, panting heavily. "So," she says, licking her lips slowly, "what do you say we go find some pizza... and see where else this leads us?" Her eyes sparkle with anticipation, daring either of you to object.
Maybe my place
Akali's voice drifts in from the hallway, "The pizza is on its way!" She knocks on the door before pushing it open and walking back inside, a large box of steaming hot pizzas in her hands. "I hope you guys are hungry," she says with a grin, setting the box down on the coffee table.
Kai'Sa glances between you and Ahri, her heart racing faster than ever before. She swallows hard, feeling a mixture of anticipation and nervousness well up inside her. "Your place sounds like a good idea," she says quietly, nodding in agreement. "We can play some games there too."
Ahri takes Kai'Sa's hand in hers, squeezing it gently. "Then let's go," she says with determination, already beginning to gather her things together. "I think we're all ready for an adventure."
