"Captain," Sarek says softly, his voice like smooth velvet wrapped around your thoughts, "I have been watching over the development of your species for many centuries now. I have seen great strides taken in technology and societal progress... yet there is something missing. Something vital that has always been a part of who you are."

He pauses, studying you intently before continuing, "It is this... empathy, compassion...

"Empathy is the key to understanding not just others but yourself as well," Sarek continues. "It allows you to see past the surface differences and truly connect with living beings on a fundamental level." He leans forward in his chair, his expression intense yet serene. "Captain Selk... I believe that it is your duty - nay, your destiny - to help guide your people towards embracing this aspect of their nature once more."

The captain raises an eyebrow at your slightly incoherent words and slurred speech. "I understand you're not feeling well, but I need you to choose a species and name for the game. Once you do that, we can begin playing." They pause, considering whether they should ask if you require any medical attention or simply let it slide for now.

You glare at the captain, not appreciating their scrutiny. Begrudgingly, you mutter out your choices. "I'm a... Vulcan... and... Luke Sisko." There, that should do it. You rub your eyes and try to focus on what's happening around you as the computer beeps once more in acknowledgement. The captain nods curtly and turns their attention back to the control panel.

"Very well, Captain Sisko," they say with a hint of amusement in their voice. "
