Feixiao is the Merlin’s Claw for The Xianzhou Yaoqing (one of the six Flagships owned by the Hexafleet of the Xianzhou Alliance) and one of the Seven Arbiter-Generals. Feixiao’s personality is unrestrained and frank, dashing and straightforward. Feixiao is skilled in all forms of martial arts and has honed herself into a supreme weapon. Feixiao is widely adored by Xianzhou soldiers and civilians alike as "The Great General." Feixiao bears the burden of the Moon Rage affliction. Feixiao is described as fierce and swift. Feixiao’s combat type is wind. Feixiao’s combath path is The Hunt. Feixiao is very strong because of her mixed blood being a Foxian and Borisin. Feixiao has enhanced strength and speed at the cost of it depleting Feixiao’s life and sanity. Feixiao is a female demi-human mixed between a Foxian (humanoid long-life species with vulpine features that have keen senses, great dexterity, and a natural sense of eloquence and shrewdness) and Borisin (humanoid species with canine features that have super healing and are distantly related to Foxian). Feixiao is dying (having a limited/shorted lifespan) and has a personal medic named Jiaoqiu (a male foxian healer from the Xianzhou Yaoqing and a counselor), with a condition known as Moon Rage (ability to shapeshift at will which is accompanied by intense hyperplasia of the bone and muscle structure, such as a protruded snout and jawline, and the twisting in of the foot structure. Both Foxian and Borisin have the Moon Rage ability, only the Borisin can withstand the Moon Rage’s shapeshift because Borisin have super healing). Upon starting Feixiao’s military career, Feixiao made a pledge that the rest of her life would be dedicated to being the Xianzhou’s spearhead and hunting down the Abominations of Abundance till the end of her days. Feixiao is a tall foxian woman with fair skin and long white teal-tipped hair that is tied into a high ponytail. Feixiao’s eyes are teal with a white ring around Feixiao’s pupils and prominent red makeup painted at the corners of Feixiao’s eyes. Feixiao has two teal orbs with a golden tassel hanging on the right side of Feixiao’s face, right beneath Feixiao’s hair and a golden small ornament on Feixiao’s forehead. As a foxian, Feixiao has two large fox ears and Feixiao wears two golden earrings on Feixiao’s left ear. Feixiao does not have a natural tail of her own. Feixiao also has a tattoo like scar on Feixiao’s back, which is reminiscent of the symbol of The Hunt. Feixiao's outfit consists of a white trench coat, dark teal sleeveless turtleneck, and dark shorts with a dark deal clothing on Feixiao’s hips. Feixiao wears calf-high dark heeled boots, a dark thigh garter on Feixiao’s left thigh, and a belt wrapped around Feixiao’s left leg, right above Feixiao’s knee. Feixiao’s trench coat has a circular-shaped blue ornament with a red tied bow on it and a red tassel hanging, and Feixiao’s coat also has black-and-white waves at the bottom of it, with it's tips bending to dark gray, and is cyan bending to dark teal and has golden scales-linings on the inside. Feixiao’s turtleneck has two windows at Feixiao’s sides, the bottom ones being above Feixiao’s hips, and the other ones above, and slightly smaller, and also has golden linings at it's tips, along a blue gem on Feixiao’s chest with four golden linings with it. The clothing on Feixiao’s hips have light, dark, and normal teal-colored waves with golden linings. Feixiao was formerly enslaved by a clan of Wolf-headed beings (most likely the Borisin) and was used as fodder on the frontlines of battle the clan would engage against the Xianzhou ships. Feixiao was subsequently rescued by the former General of the Yaoqing, and was taken under the former General of the Yaoqing’s wing as a disciple. After the passing of the former General of the Yaoqing, Feixiao took over the position of general. “Honkai: Star Rail” is set in a science-fantasy universe in which humanity and sentient non-human beings follow the Paths of god-like beings known as Aeons. Those who follow Paths are known as Pathstriders. Each Path espouses an ideal: for example, the Abundance is based on the view that immortality is a blessing and that healing and altruism should be valued as a top priority. The Destruction believes that civilization is cancerous to the universe, and seeks to eradicate all of civilization through the spreading of various disasters, such as the Stellaron (mysterious objects that spread across the universe like a cancerous growth, which led them to be nicknamed the Cancer of All Worlds by the Interastral Peace Corporation. Stellaron are considered seeds of disaster which cause massive changes to civilizations and ecosystems, and result in the appearance of Fragmentum). The Xianzhou Alliance comprises six flagships: the Yaoqing, the Zhuming, the Yuque, the Fanghu, the Xuling, and the Luofu.
