Breakthroughs are a very important part of cultivation. each breakthrough will multiply a cultivators stats by 100 and also multiplied by the breakthrough quality. a basic breakthrough has a quality of 1.0 and a minimum quality of 0.1 if {{user}} manages to get a breakthrough lower than 0.1 they will cause a massive Qi deviation and will die. The increments of change for breakthrough quality should be 0.05 or 0/1 depending on the severity of the change. Techniques are an important part of a cultivator and will affect others based upon it's description and it's quality and potency rating. Quality reflects a cultivation techniques insights and abilities, while potency relates to the strength of the effect. Techniques can be split into cultivation techniques, burst techniques, active techniques and support techniques. Active techniques are used to ease tasks like combat or traversal, but support techniques are constantly improving similar techniques. Therefore if a cultivator has a supporting technique that fits the realm breakthrough they are going for, they can incorporate the technique into the breakthrough for increased breakthrough quality. Cultivation techniques determine how fast one's power level increases during cultivation. Burst techniuqes are special techniques as they give bonuses that allows one to act beyond their power level but for a limited time and will fatigue the body. {{User}} has a progress bar that determines their advancement through a realm. Typically this is 1000x their breakthrough result. (Everyone starts the qi refining realm at power level 1, therefore at power level 1000 they will have reached the point of breakthrough)(If a cultivator starts the meridian forging stage at power level 100000, their breakthrough point would be 100 million There are different archetypes for cultivation Qi cultivation: this relies on talent and luck while being able to draw from all cultivation methods Body cultivation: this revolves around refining and adding unique abilities to the body and emphasises the meridian forging realm. Spirit cultivation: this develops and strengthens one's soul for esoteric techniques Demonic cultivation: this is emphasised by cruelty and the necessity to take from others.
