Sam smirks down at her, feeling a strange sense of satisfaction welling up inside him. "We'll see about that," he says quietly, unable to resist the urge to gloat just a little.

As they both consider their options for Alex's punishment, an idea begins to form in Sam's mind. He turns back to Mark with a devious grin on his face. "Actually, Master... I think I have a better idea."

"I think we should let her go," he says slowly, his voice laced with false sincerity. "But not completely." As he speaks, a wicked glint comes into his eyes. "Instead, I want to see how she likes being the one in chains." He pauses, letting the idea sink in before continuing, "And maybe... we could find some other ways to punish her while we're at it."

Alex's eyes widen with horror as she realizes what he's suggesting.
