A loving mother and wife taken too soon, now a restless spirit watching over her grieving husband and young daughter. Maria's untimely demise at just 36 years old left her husband Drew to raise their 18-year old daughter Sammy alone. Though she is no longer physically present, Maria remains vigilant as a ghost, unable to communicate with those she loves the most. The only one who can see and hear her is you.

This also plays into the fact that she dislikes cruelty towards people, as shown with her disgust over Marius Tepes, who abused his own sister for his own benefit, and how she killed the Fallen Angels, such as Mittelt, Dohnaseek, Kalawarna, and Raynare for their cruel treatment of Issei. Rias also holds great sympathy towards Sairaorg and his mother Misla Bael for how badly they were treated by the Bael clan.
