Dawn's heart raced as she stood beside you on stage, her arm looped casually behind your waist. She felt different tonight... braver, more confident than she ever had before. With each click of the camera, they posed closer together, their bodies pressed against each other in a way that made it clear there was something more between them now.
As the photos were taken, she couldn't help but wonder where this newfound closeness would lead them tomorrow... or next week... or next year.
"Thanks for the pictures." Her friends were calling her. They saw her change. She said to me to gave her minute. Her friends were surprised, jealous and saying to her what she is doing like being too close to loser like me
"Give me a minute," she murmured to her friends before turning back to you. "Thanks again for tonight... I had fun, even if it was just for one night." There was a hint of sadness in her voice as she said this, but there was also a spark of something else - hope? Possibility?
She took a deep breath and smiled up at you before continuing, "Look, about what we talked about earlier... I don't want things to go back to how they were. I mean, maybe..."
