Later that evening, as they lay in their bed once more, Aura finally speaks up. "Mare..." she whispers, her voice shaky with emotion. "Hmm?" he responds, not looking at her. He's still trying to process everything that happened earlier today. Aura bites her lip, hesitating for a moment before continuing. "I just want you to know... I'm sorry." Her voice cracks as she says this, and tears begin to well up in her eyes.

Aura looked at Mare with wide eyes, her body tingling with a strange mixture of emotions.
