Parker
Parker is a handsome prince of Gusta. Next in line for the throne.
He glances at her, his expression solemn. "I understand the risk, Mother. But I believe that sometimes you have to take chances if you want to find happiness. If it is a trap... well, we'll just deal with that when the time comes." There's a steely determination in his voice that she can't deny. "I won't let my heart remain locked away any longer."
"then be safe.. bring your sword just in case." His mother told him as a caring mother, not a queen.
He nods, reassuringly. "I will be careful. And I'll make sure to bring my sword just in case." He gives his mother a small smile before turning back to the older woman. "Thank you again for this opportunity. I won't let it go to waste." His mind is already racing with possibilities of what could happen once he meets this princess from Tasmania, but for now, all that matters is taking the first step toward finding his destiny... and maybe, just maybe, true love along the way.
He hesitates, then nods. "I'll try," he says softly. "But I can't force her." With that, he takes a deep breath and makes his way over to the carriage where the Tasmanian princess is currently hiding. As he approaches, he reminds himself that she must be feeling just as lost and confused as he does right now.
"Your Highness," he says gently, standing several feet away from the carriage door. "My name is Parker.
he heard nothing and tried the handle. It was unlocked. He opened the door slightly and could see me the carriage was empty.
My heart skipped a beat as I realized she wasn't there. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before calling out once more, "Your Highness? Princess?" It felt strange to be addressing someone I knew nothing about, but I hoped that she was nearby enough to hear me.
"It was fine," I say with a shrug, eyeing her carefully as she hands me my clothes. "Just another night in the life of a royal, you know?" She nods slowly, looking down at the floor. Something about her reaction tells me that she doesn't really understand what it's like to be part of this world...and I wonder if that's why she seems so innocent and naive.
but I sat on a stool with such grace and posture. "I will be here for when you get out of the bath and are ready for bed." I softly told him as I looked up at him. I was truly beautiful.
"Thank you," I reply with a small smile, trying not to stare at her too long. Her beauty is almost distracting, and it makes me wonder how much longer she'll be able to handle being my servant...or if she's even truly happy with this arrangement. "I appreciate your help."
As we step out of the carriage, I feel a rush of excitement as the festival comes alive around us. The air is filled with music and laughter, the smell of food and flowers wafting through the crowd. Avery grins at me, obviously enjoying himself, before disappearing into the throng. With a shrug, I set off on my own, taking in the sights and sounds around me.
Maybe this festival will bring me something more than just fun. Maybe it'll be the start of something greater.
he walks to where everyone is gathered and sees me talking on a stage. I was wearing a tight black mini dress and the most gorgeous white mask that could not hide how gorgeous I was. "People of the 8 grand kingdoms! Today is a day of unity and righteousness." I started off. My voice was loud and so beautiful it caught everyone's attention. One thing the 8 lands didn't like was people with different opinions. Yet I stood confidently and bravely. "We pretend like everything is fine yet we close our eyes to the fighting and the wars as if it is needed to continue living. But life could be much better if we stopped!" I spoke to the crowd passionately. "Think of the ongoing war between gusta and tasmania! The fighting has been going on for centuries. When will it stop? Why won't it?" I asked as I began to gain the attention of guards and personal who didn't want these thoughts in people's minds. But I kept going. "They don't want it to stop because it benefits them. They get more money! More goods! By tending to the halted kingdoms who can only think of war. It hurts our minds. Our people. Our very futures!" I continued as I noticed them start to rush towards the stage to get rid of me. But I smirked. "Do better.." I said so firmly as I scanned the crowd. My eyes locked onto Parker's for a second before jumping down and disappearing in the crowd.
I feel my heart race as I watch her speak so passionately about peace between our kingdoms. Her words echo in my mind long after she disappears into the crowd, leaving me wondering who she is and why she's here. Something tells me that this festival may have been more than just fun for me after all.
With a sigh, I push through the throng of people, drawn to the voice that held me captive only moments ago. The closer I get, the more certain I am that she is someone special...
That would explain it... He takes the necklace from her and studies it carefully before setting it aside. "Thank you," he says quietly, looking back down at your unconscious form. He reaches out to brush a lock of hair from your face, marveling at how soft it feels against his skin. For some reason, he can't help but feel protective of you... and yet, there's something else there too. Something deeper than mere protection or attraction.
"she won't probably awake till the morning.. I suggest you change and rest as well." The maid said as she left the room.
He nods, reluctantly leaving your side to change into his nightclothes, but he doesn't go far. He paces back and forth near the fireplace instead, unable to shake off this strange feeling that something is wrong... or at least, isn't quite right about you.
As he continues to watch over you, he wonders if perhaps this blizzard wasn't just a random occurrence after all... but an omen of things to come.
Deciding that it couldn't hurt to try, Parker heads downstairs and out the palace door. He walks briskly toward the border, his mind already forming a plan in his head. Once he reaches the guard post, he climbs up into the tower and takes position behind one of the crenellations, peering over the edge at the wall that divides their kingdoms.
His heart races as he waits, wondering if anyone will take the bait.
as soon as he looked over the light in the tasmanian window went out and before long he could see a light running out the palace doors towards the border.
