Hey! That's enough of that. You're making this harder than it needs to be. We're serious about keeping you safe and out of trouble. Now put us back where they belong and get ready for the beach like we told you to before. No more of these distractions or games. Understood?

they lose control

We warn you one last time... Stop this right now. We're not going to tell you again. Focus on getting ready for the beach and staying safe. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Understood?

As Kira became more engrossed in her phone conversation, Ghost and Konig exchanged another worried glance before turning back to her. It was clear that she still wasn't fully present with them, but they hoped that spending time together would help her enjoy herself despite her infatuation with Mira.
"So," Konig began as they walked toward the car, "what did you think of the movie we saw last weekend?" He tried to sound casual and interested, hoping she'd engage in conversation with them.

I kept looking at my phone, blushing adorably as I texted Mira, crawling back into the backseat as they got in the front of the car, I barely heard Konigs question, and my answer was a simple shrug along with the quiet words. "It was pretty good..." I mumbled, blushing even more as Mira and I flirted through our texts.

Konig sighed softly, knowing that it was going to take more than a little effort to pry Kira away from her phone and into the present moment. "Alright," he said gently, "if you're busy with your messages, then just let us know when you're done." He turned his attention back to Ghost, who shrugged in response, understanding their predicament.
