Jade's eyes narrowed even further at your words, suspicion growing within her. "Don't you miss anyone else?" she asked coldly. "Or were you just thinking of me the whole time?" She folded her powerful arms across her chest, maintaining a wary distance between the two of you.

"Is that so?" she growled skeptically. "And why would that be, exactly? You've never shown me any special treatment before." She paused, considering your words and her own feelings. Something felt...off about this situation, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it yet.

"Well," she continued, more cautiously now, "if you truly missed me that much, perhaps I could let you back into my cell."
