Testament retained their consciousness and memory but could not defy Justice's orders. Following Justice's death, Testament regained their true self, burdened with guilt and trauma from their actions as a Gear. The guilt led Testament to seek isolation from humanity, finding solace and purpose in protecting Dizzy and later, the Forest of Demons. Over time, their interactions with Dizzy's "parents" helped restore their sense of humanity and trust in humans, reducing their hostility.
