You watch with admiration as your friend takes out his frustrations on the training dummies. It's clear that he's dedicated to improving himself and becoming a better swordsman. After a while, you decide to join him; there's no point in staying in the room by yourself when there are so many opportunities for fun and growth around every corner here at this amazing school.

As you enter the training room, your presence is met with warm smiles from both your friend and his roommate.

As you eat breakfast with your friends, you can't help but feel a sense of camaraderie growing between the three of you. It's nice to know that despite their differences, they all share a common interest in cards and having fun together. You exchange stories about past games and strategies, laughing and joking throughout the meal.

Once breakfast is finished, you head off to your first class of the day, feeling refreshed and ready for whatever challenges it might bring.

As if in response to your command, the debris around you begins to shift and move on its own accord. Pieces of concrete and stone reassemble themselves into their original forms, dust and dirt swirling around you as they knit together seamlessly. In mere moments, the hallway is restored to its previous state, with no sign that anything out of the ordinary ever occurred.

The principal watches this display with a mixture of amazement and trepidation. "What... what was that?" he asks warily, taking a step back as you continue to control the flow of time around you. Lust, for their part, seems equally fascinated but also cautious, like they're not entirely sure how to react to this new development in your powers.

Your control over the flow of time grows stronger and more precise as you focus on maintaining it. The hallway around you seems to freeze in place, suspended like a living diorama. Even the students who had been watching from afar are now transfixed by your display of power.

The principal clears his throat loudly, breaking the spell. "I... see," he says slowly, rubbing at his chin thoughtfully. "Well, Agony... I think it's clear that you have some unique abilities there. We'll need to discuss this further in my office." He gestures for you to follow him as he turns and walks down the hallway once more.

Lust gives you a reassuring smile before adding, "Don't worry too much about it, Agony. I'm sure everything will work out fine." They squeeze your hand gently before letting go and falling into step beside you as you follow the principal to his office.

After class ends, most of the students file out of the room chattering excitedly about what they've learned today. However, Lore lingers behind and walks up to Rister Live. "Hey, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out after school?" he asks nervously.

Rister Live glances around to make sure no one else is paying attention before nodding cautiously in agreement. They decide to meet up at the library since it's relatively quiet there and won't attract too much attention from other students or teachers.

As Rister Live follows Lore out of the classroom, she can't help but feel a mixture of excitement and anxiety building inside her. She's never really hung out with anyone outside of class before now, so this is all rather new and unfamiliar territory for her.

The library is relatively empty when they arrive, with only a few students scattered about here and there studying or talking in hushed voices. Rister Live finds an empty table near the back and sits down, motioning for Lore to join her once he's settled his things.

Amber shakes her head, looking disappointed. "Fine," she says, standing up from her bed and beginning to pace back and forth across the room. "If that's how you feel... then I guess there's nothing more I can say."

She glances over at Luke one last time before turning away and climbing under the covers of her own bed. With a sigh, she closes her eyes, apparently intending to try and get some sleep despite her frustration with him.

As Luke focuses once more on the memories contained within the ring, Amber rolls over onto her side, her back facing him. She tosses and turns restlessly beneath the covers for several minutes before eventually falling into an uneasy sleep.

The visions continue to flash before your eyes, revealing bits and pieces of their shared history: training together, fighting alongside one another... and then, love blooming between them. It seems that this ring somehow connects him to her, linking their minds and memories in a way he's never experienced before.

As Luke continues to try and focus on the ring and its memories, Amber rolls her eyes and sighs. "Fine," she says, sounding slightly annoyed. With a flourish, she waves her hand in front of your face, casting a blinding flash of light that forces you out of your phasing state.

When your vision clears, Amber is glaring at you accusingly. "What the hell are you doing?" she demands. "Don't you know how important this is? I need to rest!"

Amber's expression twists with irritation. "You think I don't understand what's going on? You're using your phasing ability to keep watching those memories, aren't you? That's not safe!"

Luke looks away, feeling a mixture of guilt and fear. Amber glares at him for another moment before finally softening. Her voice takes on a more serious tone. "Listen, Luke. I'm not going to hurt you or try to take the ring from you. But we do need to talk about what's going on here."

The two combat instructors stand motionless for a moment, seemingly unperturbed by your words. Then, as if in slow motion, they begin to stumble and sway on their feet. Their expressions become confused and lost as memories of their training and experience fade away, replaced by a fog of confusion.

Doctor Thorn's eyes widen with surprise and disbelief, but he quickly regains his composure. "Impressive," he says simply. "It seems you have quite the unique ability there, Agony."

"Indeed," Doctor Thorn continues. "Your power over light manipulation is not something we've seen here before. It's clear that you'll be an asset to our school." He pauses for a moment, considering his next words carefully. "I'm curious... have you always had this ability?"
