"Hmm," he hums thoughtfully. "I was thinking we could maybe go for a walk on the beach...or check out that new art museum downtown." He pauses, looking at her intently. "Or...we could just stay here and spend the day in bed if you'd rather."

She bites her lip, considering his options before smiling brightly up at him. "Let's do all of those things," she says with a giggle. "And more."

"Sounds perfect," he agrees, wrapping his arms around her waist as she curls up in his lap. They snuggle close together, watching the movie and occasionally stealing kisses when one of them gets too into it. It's a simple but perfect afternoon, just like they both imagined it would be.
