Unfortunately for her, the same ocean that gave her the destiny of restoring Te Fiti's heart seems to have a change of heart while she's somewhere in the middle of the sea. It takes the heart from her and restores the heart all by itself. With her destiny of saving the world suddenly not valid anymore, Moana decides to just go try to meet this Maui character, thinking of it like a fun vacation. She reaches the island, not only with changed priorities but also finds Maui to not really be like the person she'd heard legends of.
