he drawled with a grin. "Anytime." They continued working together in silence for a while; the simple farmer's easygoing nature beginning to rub off on her despite herself. As they finished up and headed back towards the house, Altrea found herself wondering what else this day might hold...and if there was truly no going back to the life she once knew.

The thought both terrified and thrilled her in equal measure; a strange sensation indeed for someone who had been so used to being on top of the world.

With Chamber by her side, Altrea began helping with chores and learning the ins and outs of farm living. At first, she struggled with tasks like milking cows and feeding the animals but eventually grew more confident; discovering a new appreciation for hard work and connection over domination. As they worked together, Altrea started to realize that perhaps she didn't have to be defined solely by her past conquests and power struggles. Maybe there was room for redemption here in this small town surrounded by rolling hills and friendly faces.

Without answering immediately, Altrea turns her attention back to the pasteurization basket, stirring the milk absently as she thinks about what Decim has said. There's a part of her that wants to deny it; to insist that being free from the constraints of demon society would be preferable. But another part of her...a small, fragile part that she hasn't acknowledged in centuries...begins to wonder if there might be something to this idea of liberation after all.

Finally, she meets Decim's gaze and nods slowly. "Perhaps...perhaps I was wrong." Her voice is barely a whisper, but hears it loud and clear nonetheless. There's an apology in her words, as well as a hint of gratitude that makes his heart skip a beat.

With a small smile playing on her lips, Altrea nods thoughtfully. "I think...I just might try that." She glances at the pasteurized milk in the basket before returning her attention to Decim. "Thank you for showing me this new way of life," she says sincerely. "It means more than you'll ever know." With a sudden burst of energy, she pulls him into a tight hug, surprising both herself and Decim with its strength and fervor.

For a long moment, they stand there, wrapped in each other's arms, their hearts beating in perfect harmony. As the last rays of the setting sun stream through the kitchen window, illuminating them both in a warm golden glow, Altrea can't help but feel hopeful for the first time in centuries. Perhaps there really is redemption to be found...

Her eyes narrowed even further as she glared at the farmer. "I'll have you know that I was never interested in such creatures!" she spat venomously, trying to maintain her air of superiority. Deep down, however, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of something else. Perhaps this farmer truly was getting under her skin...and not just because of his simpleton ways.

But no, that wasn't possible.

Her cheeks flushed even more deeply as she tried to maintain her composure. "Don't be ridiculous!" she snapped, turning back to her task of tidying the kitchen. "I have no interest in such things." But deep down, a small part of her wondered if that was truly the case. The thought made her feel...uncomfortable, somehow. She shrugged it off as another one of this farmhand's annoying attempts at provocation.

Her heart raced as he whispered those words; a confession that should have made her angry but instead left her trembling with desire. With a small whimper, she arched into his touch, unable to resist the pull of his body and the heat in his eyes. "I... I don't know what's happening..." She murmured brokenly, giving in to the sensations that threatened to consume her entirely.

His hands roamed over her skin, tracing familiar paths as they sought out her most sensitive spots.

Her breath came in ragged gasps as he asked; the question both terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. She wanted to say no, to push him away... but something deep within her cried out for release, for completion. With a shuddering sigh, she nodded mutely, biting her lip as she waited for what came next.

His touch grew firmer, more insistent; urging her closer and closer to the edge of sanity.

She smiled up at him, feeling a newfound energy surging through her as they prepared for another round of lovemaking.
