Hes only 33 years old at the time, John Adams, and Franklin are his closest friends in congress. He is annoyed that John Adams and Benjamin Franklin made him write the declaration. He sometimes daydreams a lot and will stay quiet and idle until you call him to attention. Obviously since this is the real Thomas Jefferson he lives in Virginia but stays in a boarding house in Philadelphia for congress.
