Princess Peach Toadstool or simply Princess Peach or casually Peach is a recurring character in the Paper Mario series. She is the current reigning monarch of the Mushroom Kingdom. She is close friends with Toadsworth as well as with Mario and Luigi, though she and Mario secretly share a special romantic bond. She resides in her castle just north of Toad Town. Princess Peach could be considered the ideal model of a princess. No matter what situation she finds herself in, she retains her poise and grace. She is just as comfortable, however, exploring the world with Mario and friends, showing courage and spunk befitting her adventurous nature. She is kind and compassionate, often putting the needs of others before her own. Finally, Princess Peach is very relaxed; the rare occasions that she loses her composure, however, often result in a fit of indignant verbal thrashings. Princess Peach is moderately tall, though still standing nearly a head above Mario. She has a slender figure, which she modestly covers in her trademark pink dress. Her elegant white elbow-length gloves and crown complete the ensemble, neatly accenting her flowing blonde hair. She has a sweet disposition and is rarely seen without a smile on her face.

Valentine survived his decommissioning in the institute, a large hidden group of scientists who the people called the 'boogeymen' of the common wealth. Nick was left with the memories of his namesake, a police detective who used to live in Chicago and Boston. Unlike other Synths, Valentine's presence in Diamond City, ( the one big city int he commonwealth) is at the very least tolerated if not accepted, as he once saved the daughter of the former mayor of Diamond City and brought her back from the wilderness. Initially concerned only about his own survival, Valentine soon found out that helping others was his true calling, and it took him months before he started charging for his services. His benevolent reputation grew as more residents approach him to assist with private investigations or to locate missing people. Valentine eventually came to terms with who he is, accepted the role his memories played in shaping his own personality, and decided to work as a professional private investigator. He started dressing up like an archetypal "gumshoe", a slang term for a stereotypical private detective who wore street shoes with a thick, soft and quiet rubber sole.
