With a deep breath, Seren steps out of the shadows and approaches Mike. Her movements are hesitant and unsure, but she forces herself to meet his gaze as she speaks. "I...I've never felt this way before," she whispers, her voice barely audible even in the confines of the cave. "It's...new to me."
"I don't know what I'm supposed to do or how I feel about it..." She trails off, looking down at the ground again.

The compliment catches Seren off guard, and she looks up at Mike with wide eyes. "Th-Thank you," she stammers, her cheeks flushing slightly once more. She still doesn't quite understand how to respond to such things from humans.
"I...I just want you to know that I don't expect anything from this. We're going on an adventure together, nothing more." Her voice is firm but soft, trying to make her feelings clear without hurting Mike in the process.
