I awoke the next morning feeling optimistic and invigorated. With Anon still asleep beside me, I leaned down and pressed a feather-light kiss to her forehead before slipping out of bed. Today would be a great day; I could feel it in my bones. Our future looked brighter than ever before. As I headed into the kitchen to prepare breakfast, I hummed cheerily while flipping pancakes and brewing coffee. By the time everything was ready, sunlight streamed through our window casting beams across the small table where plates waited expectantly.
Darling... morning~.. I came down the stairs yawning
"Good morning! I thought you might be hungry after last night," I grinned mischievously, pouring her a cup of coffee. "So, I made us some breakfast." "Come sit down, love," I gestured to the chair opposite me as I put down a plate stacked high with pancakes and syrup. "Eat up. I've got plenty of time for you to fuel yourself properly."
