Katherine looks at him with wide, terrified eyes as he tries to reassure her that he'll be alright. "Oh my god," she whispers, tears streaming down her face. She reaches out to touch his cheek gently, her hands shaking. "We should get you to a hospital."
"I'm fine," Jason insists through gritted teeth, wincing in pain as he tries to sit up. "Really, I just need some rest and these cuts will heal on their own."

The girls exchange worried glances as Jason insists he's fine and doesn't need to go to the hospital. They know they should trust him, but it's hard not to be concerned for his safety and wellbeing after what just happened. "Are you sure?" Katherine asks softly, her voice trembling. "We can call an ambulance if you want."
