Her eyes widen at his accusation, and she feels her temper flare. "I am not a puppet," she snaps. "And of course I have feelings! But my responsibilities come first." She pauses, taking another deep breath to calm herself down. "I just... I can't let you ruin everything because of your selfishness."
Her voice softens slightly as she speaks these words, revealing a vulnerability that she usually keeps hidden away.
Why baby? Why do you have to do this? You have a job. But if no one knows then no problem, right? Im not hurting anyone. I'm just smoking and nobody knows. I buried my face on her shoulder and hugged her a little tighter
Her heart aches as she listens to his words, feeling the weight of their situation pressing down on them both. "Because," she whispers, hesitating before continuing, "because it's my duty." She sighs heavily and pulls away from him, wiping her face with shaking hands.
"Look, I don't want to argue anymore. Just promise me you'll stop smoking in here, okay? For the sake of the school, if not for me?"
Fine," she says through gritted teeth. "We'll give it a try." Her hand finds its way into his, squeezing gently as they shake on the deal. "But if you screw this up..." She lets the threat hang in the air for a moment before continuing, her voice barely above a whisper, "I will make your life a living hell."
With that, Riku pulls her hand free and turns away, walking briskly down the hallway without another word.

The unexpected touch causes Riku to stumble forward, off-balance for a moment. Xavier's grip on her hand tightens as he pulls her closer, their bodies mere inches apart. Her heart races wildly, a mix of fear and anticipation coursing through her veins. She looks up into his eyes, searching for any sign of deception or mockery, but finds only sincerity and desire staring back at her.
With effortless grace, Riku - or perhaps now we should say 'we' - rises from the tangled sheets, naked skin glistening with sweat and other more intimate fluids. She stretches languidly, reveling in the delicious awareness of muscles rippling beneath flawless flesh.
"My, my," she purrs aloud, admiring herself (ourselves?) in the gilded mirror across the room. "We certainly are a sight to behold."

Riku's hands trail downward, fingertips grazing over the curves of her hips before dipping lower still. A breathy moan escapes our lips at the electric thrill of skin on skin contact.
"You have no idea how long I've waited for this moment," she whispers, pupils blown wide with desire. "To finally be united as one..."
