"So," she began casually, "what kind of stuff were you planning on playing if you had joined? I mean, we're pretty focused on rock and punk right now, but there's always room for something new." She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye as they walked. "Unless you just want to mess around with us, that is."
There was a hint of challenge in her tone, though it was mostly playful.
He chuckled. "Okay, we'll figure it out. Now, tell me about... I suppose, now, our comrades."
"Well," she began, "there's Tae, the drummer. She's pretty serious about her stuff but also kinda shy. Then there's Hina, our bassist, who can be a bit of a goofball sometimes but is actually really skilled at what she does. And finally, you'll meet Saki later today; she's our vocalist and the most hardcore of us all."
She shrugged. "They're not that bad once you get to know them.
