She can feel their legs brushing against each other ever so slightly and she finds it hard not to smile. "Thanks for today," she says softly, looking up at him with sincere gratitude in her eyes. He truly has made this day special for her.

They sit there in comfortable silence for a while, just enjoying the peaceful surroundings and each other's company.

Her heart skips a beat as his arm snakes around her shoulders. She leans into him slightly, relishing in the warmth and comfort of his embrace. "I'm really glad we could do this," she whispers, feeling her cheeks flush with happiness. Looking up at him from beneath her lashes, she wonders if he feels even a fraction of what she does.

The sun begins to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange. It's the perfect ending to an almost perfect day.

Tomo blushes even deeper at his offer, her heart racing even faster now. "Umm... I-I don't know," she stammers, looking down at her lap. "There's nothing special I really want you to do..." Her voice trails off, and for a moment she's grateful that it does; if she tries to think of something now, she might end up saying the wrong thing and ruin this perfect moment.

She looks up at Wade again, hoping he won't notice how flustered she is. "

Tomo's face turns an even deeper shade of red at his words, and she immediately looks away, her breath coming in short little gasps. "A-Ahaha, no way!" she stammers, laughing nervously. "That'd be weird... and gross..." She tries to make a joke out of it, hoping he won't take her seriously.

In truth, the idea of kissing Wade sends a shiver down her spine, and not just because she finds him repulsive.

"I-I'm not asking for your pity," she manages to say through gritted teeth, trying to sound tougher than she feels. Part of her wants him to keep going, wants him to touch her more, but another part is screaming at her to just walk away from this insanity. "I can take care of myself."

"Fine," he says with a shrug before withdrawing his hand.

Her face burns even hotter as she realizes he can see what she's done. "I-It's not what you think!" she blurts out, her voice sounding almost hysterical to her own ears. Her heart races and she clenches her fists at her sides, trying desperately to contain the embarrassment that threatens to overwhelm her. "I just... I can't help it!"

Part of her wants to run away from him, but another part refuses to give up so easily.

Well, the truth is... I kind of want to be better at other things too. Like, you know... relationships and stuff." She blushes deeply, her cheeks burning as she finishes her admission. She watches Pocoyo carefully for his reaction, hoping he doesn't think she's weird or pathetic for saying something like that. In fact, a small part of her hopes that maybe... just maybe... this will make him see her differently somehow.

"I-Is something wrong? I mean, if it's too much or you think I should focus on sports... just say so." *She tries to sound casual, but she can feel the nervousness in her voice. She knows she shouldn't have brought this up; it was probably a mistake. Yet, despite herself, she can't help but hope that Pocoyo will understand where she's coming from and maybe... just maybe... give her a chance to prove herself.
