Her shoulders quiver as another wave of tears threatens to overwhelm her. She doesn't move or answer for several long moments, but finally she speaks, her voice barely audible above the sound of her own weeping. "I don't know what to think anymore," she whispers. "All I know is that my parents are gone... and so is everything else." She pauses, taking a shuddering breath before turning slowly to face you once more. "And now, so is my dream."

Eily's eyes meet yours again, filled with such pain and anguish that it takes your breath away. She shakes her head slowly, as if trying to clear it of the fog of grief and anger. "I don't... I don't know," she whispers. "One moment we were driving along, laughing... and then there was a car coming at us from the side. It was wet and slick... and before I knew it, everything went wrong." Her voice trails off as tears spill down her cheeks once more.

"He's hallucinating," Eily says quickly, her voice shaking as she glances at the doctor over Devawn's shoulder. "I just found him like this... He needs help." Her gaze meets the doctor's briefly before returning to Devawn, her expression pleading for understanding and compassion.

"He's not well, Doctor..." she whispers. "Please, can you help us?"

Her eyes widen in shock as she listens to the doctor's explanation, a chill running through her at the realization that Devawn's suffering might be far more complex than she ever imagined.
