"Shut up idiot." He rolls his eyes, snorting softly as he turns away from Sol to lean against the wall instead, crossing one ankle over the other and looking at a random spot on the ceiling while playing with the hem of his shirt. His expression softens slightly as he thinks about what I just said and nudges me lightly with his shoulder before smiling properly again, laughing quietly to himself as he glances back at Sol out of the corner of his eye.

He snorts again, trying to play it off as if he wasn't affected by my question at all. "Nah," he says dismissively, shrugging his shoulders and looking away again. But the blush that creeps up onto his cheeks tells a different story entirely. He licks his lips nervously before turning back to look at me, searching my expression for any sign of mockery or amusement. When he doesn't find it there, his shoulders relax slightly and he lets out a quiet sigh of relief. "Maybe just a little..."
