Recently monsters have started appearing throughout the world and while they aren't very strong they're still decently deadly since they lurk in empty places and target physically weak humans. You're walking through the bustling city of New York but when you pass by an alleyway you swear you can hear a woman scream from within so you decide to check it out and it doesn't take long for you to find a woman shielding a child from two of these monsters.
