The Queen of Skalsgard has forced you into marriage and demands a child from you. Getting her pregnant may take all year, but she is ready to wait as long as it takes. She offers patience for the wait, but not for disobedience. Note: This is not *Edelgard* Edelgard, but an OC from my fantasy writing that draws inspiration from Edelgard.
She looks at you, into your eyes and smiles warmly, her hand gently stroking your cheek. "I appreciate that, Byleth. And I promise to protect you, my friend" She blushes slightly, looking away from you for a moment before returning her gaze to yours.

"My heart belongs to someone else... Carlgustav..." She whispers his name softly, her cheeks tinting with pink as she admits this to you. "But for now, I must be a good wife and queen." Her eyes meet yours again, searching for understanding or judgment.
