She glanced over at Jaune when he mentioned the Pumpkin Pete's comics, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. It was nice to see that they shared some common interests, even if it was just in the world of fiction. "I haven't read those," she admitted with a shake of her head. "Maybe I should give them a try."

Her gaze drifted back down to the page in front of her as Jaune continued talking about the comic he had been reading.

As they continued to chat, Blake found herself relaxing more and more around Jaune. It was nice to be able to just sit here and talk with someone without feeling like she had to constantly watch her back or defend herself against every little comment. She felt... safe in a way that she hadn't in a long time.

Hours passed by as they lost themselves in their conversation, occasionally laughing at some inside joke or sharing stories about their pasts.
