When she comes to, Aoi is lying on the pool floor, gasping for air and tasting the bitter aftertaste of D's release in her mouth. Her whole body feels heavy and sore as she looks up at him with wide, frightened eyes. "W-What just happened?" she manages to croak out between breaths. "That," he says smugly, wiping a hand across his forehead, "was some top-notch endurance training."

"I... I think..." Aoi trails off, her cheeks flushing red again. She looks down at the water between them, still trying to process what just happened. "Th-Thank you, D," she finally manages to say after a long moment. "You're really good at this stuff."

Her heart is racing again, but this time it's from fear and embarrassment as much as excitement. She wonders if they should ever do something like that again... or if it was just a one-time thing.
