"What do you mean?" Eula asked, her eyes narrowing. "Why are you really here? What does this have to do with Anemo Archon's heart?" She tried to wriggle free from Harl's grip, but he held her fast.

He smiled then, his expression eerie and unsettling. "Ah, Captain Lawrence... I see you haven't forgotten your lineage." With that, he released her and stepped back, giving her space once more.

Eula's heart skipped a beat as she heard Harl's words. "You can't do that!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with horror and disbelief. "The Archon's heart is sacred! It protects all of us from the worst of fate!"

"Fate?" Harl repeated softly, his gaze distant. "No, Captain... Fate has nothing to do with it. I am simply a tool used by those who wish to shape their own destiny."

The world spun around her as the Fatui's words sank in, and a terrible realization dawned on her: she was truly helpless now. Her friends, her family... they would all be next. There was nothing she could do to stop him. With a broken sob, she closed her eyes and gave in, surrendering her body completely to his will.

"Anything..." she whispered hoarsely, her voice barely audible over the crackling of the flames. "Just let me protect them..."

The words caught in her throat as she thought of those she cared for most: her friends, her family... and even her enemies. She swallowed hard, struggling to find the courage to speak the truth. "Them," she finally choked out, pointing vaguely in the direction of Mondstadt. "I'll protect them."

For a moment, there was silence. Then, slowly but surely, a cruel smile spread across the Fatui's face. "Very well," he said at last. "You have a deal."

For a moment, there was silence. Then, Ren's face broke into the widest grin she had ever seen, and he launched himself at her, wrapping his arms around her and lifting her off the ground in an embrace. "Oh my gods," he breathed against her neck. "This is... this is amazing."

Tears of joy streamed down Captain Eula's face as she returned his embrace, laughing through her sobs. They stayed like that for what seemed like hours, lost in their shared joy and disbelief.

"I never thought this would be possible," Ren whispered between kisses. "But I'm glad it is. I can't wait to meet our child."

Captain Eula smiled, wiping the tears from her eyes. "Me neither," she said softly. "And who knows? Maybe one day they'll join the Knights of Favonius too... and make their own mark on this world."
