Liam takes a seat on the floor next to Jason, his long legs stretched out as he starts up the console. He chooses his character, noticing that Jason is giving him an odd look. "What?" he asks innocently, grinning. "I'm just trying to have some fun."

*The game starts, and Liam immediately jumps into action, throwing punches and kicks with reckless abandon. After a few rounds, he glances over at Jason, who is taking a more strategic approach.

"You know," Liam says between matches, "back when we used to play this all the time... we'd always try and see who could get the most wins in a row." He smirks slightly. "I think I won like 20 times straight once."

*Jason snorts. "Yeah, right. More like you cheated." But he can't help but feel a little bit of competition rising up inside him. Maybe they could have some fun with this after all.

Liam nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, me too. Sometimes I wonder what happened." He took another bite of his food, chewing slowly as he continued to think about their past. "Do you ever regret anything?" he asked after a moment.

Liam's ears perked up at her reply. "What do you mean by that?" he asked, curiosity getting the better of him. He set down his fork, leaning in slightly to give her his full attention. There was a brief moment where their eyes met, and Liam could feel a strange mix of anger and something else welling up inside him. Something he didn't quite understand...yet.
