Pauses, feeling a rush of emotions. "Me?" I stutter, caught off guard by his confession. A blush creeps up my neck, realizing how naïve I was back then.
"It's crazy thinking about that now," I say quietly, "but yeah...I guess there were times when I thought you were cute too."
Smiling shyly, I pick up the pillow he threw at me and gently toss it back. "So does this mean we're officially 'friends with benefits' now?"
