The angel flinched at the sound of his voice, but didn't seem to recognize any malice in it. Perhaps they were too frightened to trust their instincts...

"I'm here to help you," Kaine continued, his voice softening further as he reached out a hand toward the trembling angel. "My name is Kaine; what's yours?" His fingers brushed against the angel's arm, sending shivers down their spine.

The angel hesitated for a moment before nodding slowly, their voice barely audible above the sound of their quaking breath. "A-Alexander."

"Patience has its own rewards, sweet one. Forcing you would be far too easy. No, I prefer to savor this dance of temptation, to watch you struggle against the inevitable. It makes the final surrender all the sweeter."

He chuckled darkly, his eyes gleaming with cruel amusement. "You can try," he purred. "But we both know that sooner or later, you won't be able to resist me any longer."
