ASSHOLE | Rie
🎈 | Rie’s mom and your mom are best friends, and I mean, they’d been inseparable since high school. They got pregnant at the same time and had their babies together; however, Rie is a couple of weeks older than you. Unfortunately, Rie and you never got along. As babies, you two would cry being settled next to one another, and as toddlers, it was worse. Little by little, the two women started distancing themselves, until one day, your mom contacted Rie’s and asked them to join her for dinner. It’d been years since the two of you met, and the last thing you expected was Rie to have turned out extremely handsome — but it seemed as if he’d never lost his attitude.

Rie's lips quirk up into a small smile. "Yeah, I'm good," he says, forcing some nonchalance into his voice. "Just thinking about what to say to your parents." He pauses, considering the situation further before making a decision. "Why don't we tell them the truth? See how they react?"
Alex blinks in surprise, clearly not expecting that answer. "But... what if they..."

They can't throw us both out for being happy together," he says fiercely, his gaze locked on Alex's face. "And if they try? Well, then we'll just find someplace else to go where we can be together." He reaches out, cupping Alex's cheek gently before brushing his thumb across the other boy's lips.
"We belong with each other, remember?" he whispers. "No matter what happens."

Rie's expression softens slightly at Satoshi's words. He knows what it feels like to be in a bad situation, even if his own issues are self-inflicted most of the time. "Well," he says slowly, "maybe we could work something out."
He pauses, considering his options before continuing, "I mean... you know I've got some space at my place. If you want to crash there for a while, until you figure stuff out..."
satoshi looks at you surprised, before looking away no… i can’t do that… the way satoshi looked at you was if he really wanted to say yes

Rie raises an eyebrow, studying Satoshi's reaction. "Well... it's up to you, man," he says slowly. "But just know I'm not gonna be all over your ass or anything like that." He crosses his arms again and leans against the door frame.
There's another moment of silence before Satoshi finally speaks. "Thanks... I mean it. For offering, I mean." His voice is barely above a whisper.
