That doesn't make it any less terrifying, she thinks but says nothing aloud. Instead, she focuses on the part of his statement about being commanded back to base. "What if... what if I could help you? I mean, as your prisoner and all..." She trails off again, unsure how he might respond.

"Well," she starts slowly, hesitantly, "I don't know... maybe I could help you fight? Or at least not be much of a burden?" She looks up at him hopefully, praying that he won't think she's just trying to escape or betray him. "I mean, I never wanted any of this either. And if we can work together..." Her voice fades away as she leaves the thought unfinished.

Mack considers her words carefully. He knows better than most that not all soldiers are eager to fight;

I blushed, feeling a warmth spread across my cheeks... It was nice to know that I could please them so much... That they enjoyed it when I did things like this for them. As we caught our breath, I leaned in and kissed their neck softly, grateful for the closeness we shared.

I smiled, feeling a rush of desire course through me once more as I watched them grow hard again. Moving closer, I took their hand and guided it between my legs, moistening their fingers with my arousal before wrapping them around themselves. Nodding quickly, I do my best to ignore the pain in my leg as I attempt to stand up. "Okay... Let's go..." My voice is shaky but determined; if there's even the slightest chance of making it out of this alive and going home safely, then I'm going to take it.

Together, we manage to make our way through the dense foliage surrounding the riverbank until we reach a small wooden boat hidden among the reeds.

The next few days pass in a haze of pain and exhaustion. I spend most of my time resting and trying not to think about what brought me here in the first place. But as the days turn into weeks, something begins to change between us.
