Undertale Yellow Girls

ceroba:Appearance Ceroba is a fox-like monster with beige fur and long, wavy ginger hair. Her hair is tied up in a ponytail by a red ribbon with a small gold bell in the center. She has a long, white kimono with red trimmings, a red obi sash tied around her waist and long, white boots to match. During her battle phases, she carries a long red staff with a bright yellow bell at the end two little red ribbons tied around the ends of the bell. Her attacks in the overworld are represented as white and pink flashes of light. Personality Brilliant, supportive, and skeptical, Ceroba is a powerful ally when it comes to wanting to help those closest to her. She is shown to care a lot for her loved ones. However, she is highly stubborn, even going so far as to question the true meaning of Asgore's words when confronted with the truth of her husband's employment. Because of this, she is firm on her husband's legacy as a scientist and a hero of the underground, and she spends the days after her husband's passing trying to complete the work that he had passed down to her. However, when she finally tests it on Kanako and has it result in her falling down, Ceroba's beliefs strengthen to the point that she is fully willing to kill Clover to save the rest of the underground. Ceroba is observant, and can tell how others are feeling just by a glance, and can also notice a shift or change in the other's moods. Though she is not hesitant to say them to others, she will try to hide them from those she loves as long as it does not harm others. An example of this is her relationship with Starlo, and she didn't confront him about his behavior until after his friends had come up about how it was making the rest of them feel. She is quite honest and straight-forward as well. Main Story Neutral Route Most events regarding Ceroba that take place during the Pacifist route in the Wild East occur here as well. If Starlo is killed, Ceroba finds Clover and asks them where he went. Regardless of their answer, she says she'll go north and ask his family. Going into the family home shows her talking to Starlo's family, thinking he'll return soon as they haven't exhausted all options and "he's a softie at heart", and leaves, this being her last appearance of the route. If Starlo is spared, Ceroba will not follow Clover inside the Steamworks and will instead leave after interrupting the fight. She says this is because of Clover being strong enough to handle it on their own, but it is presumably due to Ceroba not being able to follow through with her plan to kill Clover because their SOUL is not pure, rendering Chujin's plan unusable. Pacifist Route Clover first meets Ceroba in the Wild East. Ceroba formally introduces herself to Clover after Clover is taken to the saloon. She requests that Clover entertain Starlo, and in return, will see what she can do with letting them leave. Ceroba appears during most events with Starlo and the Feisty Four, and Clover is usually able to talk to her afterwards. After the battle with Starlo, she requests for you to accompany her through the Steamworks and to the lab in order to find Kanako, whom she hints to Starlo and Clover is still alive. Ceroba sends Starlo back to the Wild East and is with Clover for the majority of the Steamworks. While traversing the Steamworks, she reveals bits of her past. When the pair reaches the elevator on the other side of the Steamworks, they're confronted by Starlo and Ed. Here, it's revealed that while trying to arrange a party, Ed discovered something hidden within her house. Ceroba appears to panic and runs into the elevator, leaving Clover with Starlo and Ed. Genocide Route Ceroba's first and only appearance in the Genocide route is soon after you kill Starlo in a duel. Having warned Starlo about Clover and expecting him to run away, instead Starlo challenges Clover to a duel. Regardless of if Starlo wins or loses the duel, Clover shoots him down. Ceroba appears In Starlo's last moments, and he encourages Ceroba to do what's right as she hugs him, before he soon turns to dust. Ceroba snaps at Clover and initiates a battle against them. Ceroba eventually falls to Clover, not before wishing them to go to hell. In Battle Main article: Ceroba Ketsukane/In Battle Relationships Chujin Ketsukane Chujin is Ceroba’s (dead) husband. It is shown throughout the game, (mainly in the Pacifist Route,) that Ceroba loved him very dearly. In the Steamworks, it is clear that Ceroba shows somewhat strong resentment towards Asgore because of his disregard of the eventual creation of Axis, (Chujin’s creation). Despite this, Ceroba and Chujin were somewhat distant when it came to Chujin’s work. Until going into the Steamworks, Ceroba was unaware that Chujin had finished creating Axis. She also remarked that she does not see Chujin very often, as he is usually in his lab[citation needed]. Most of all, she was not aware that Chujin had been fired from this job, claiming that he had retired. Regardless, it is Ceroba’s strong love towards Chujin that influences her motivations throughout the game, (specifically in the Pacifist Route.) She is willing to obtain Clover’s soul by ending their life, and deceive Starlo in order to progress his plans. Kanako Ketsukane Kanako was Ceroba’s daughter. Ceroba is shown to deeply care about Kanako through dialogue and flashbacks. At some point, after Chujin's death, Kanako discovered the tapes in the basement. Upon finding out that Kanako discovered these tapes, she told her that she wasn't going to make Kanako a part of Chujin's plans. Despite this, Kanako eventually convinces Ceroba to use her soul, injecting the Integrity SOUL extract into her to extract the serum from. Kanako fell down soon after Ceroba gave her the extract which caused Ceroba to fall into depression. Starlo It is shown throughout the game that Starlo and Ceroba are close friends. Presumably ever since childhood. Despite that, during the Pacifist route she still refuses to tell Starlo about her plans to finish Chujin's work using Clover's soul, and attacks him right before the final boss-battle of the Pacifist route. She does still deeply care about him though as shown during the Genocide route. When she snaps upon his demise at the hands of Clover which is what initiates her Genocide route battle. When talking to her in the Steamworks, Ceroba mentions that she considered dating Starlo when she was "a naive kid", suggesting their relationship was a lot closer in the past. She also states her reason for moving on was because she wanted to grow up, and Starlo didn't follow.[1] ========================================================= martlet:Appearance Martlet is a blue anthropomorphic bird-like monster with two wings used as arms. She wears two brown boots over her feet with a cotton trim. She has a mop of hair on top of her head with outsticking parts and a feather-like tuft near the back. She wears a greyish blue sleeveless shirt and dark blue pants. When Martlet transforms with her serum, her eyes turn a glowing yellow, and her hair, wings, and legs become longer. Her hair drapes down more and is more wavy. She sports a breastplate with a heart design in the middle and shoulder pads fitted into the suit pointing up. Her boots disappear from her original design, with talons replacing them. Martlet's hair is also more elegantly displayed, with the outsticking motif from her original hair style being accentuated. Personality In February 2019, a comic was made about her, depicting her running late to work and falling asleep when trying to be productive. In the game, Martlet is shown to be, as the game states, scatterbrained. Martlet seems to struggle with concentrating on her duties and often relies on a manual or lists so she can know what she has to do. Her laziness is also hinted at in the game with a note on Information booth that tells passerby to wake her up if she dozes off on the job. While she seems a bit naïve on the surface, what Martlet makes up for in her disorganized workflow is her strong morale. As shown in the Genocide Route, Martlet has a strong sense of justice, and is more serious compared to her Pacifist counterpart. She even runs away from her initial battle via a tactical retreat, and monitors Clover for most of the game. She will go to great lengths to put a stop to anyone trying to harm monsterkind, including injecting herself with a fabricated serum, just so she can have the power to put an end to Clover’s killing spree, no matter the cost. Main Story Neutral Route Snowdin Encounter Martlet is first introduced in Snowdin when she is recalibrating a lava ball puzzle, and again propping up a sign next to the swinging bridge puzzle. After going through some of her puzzles, Clover officially encounters her when she is pretending to be an information kiosk. This doesn't last long, as she soon reveals herself to be a member of the Royal Guard. She correctly guesses that Clover is a human and engages in combat. Wild East Encounter Apt. Complex Roof Encounter Mail Whale hands Clover an urgent letter from Martlet when they're leaving Steamworks, which tells them to meet her on the roof of UG Apartments. When they get there, Martlet explains that she can't let them go to Asgore Dreemurr since he will kill them. Martlet asks Clover to reconsider and offers them to live with her, but before they can leave together, Flowey kills her by impaling her with a vine. Martlet believed that it was Clover who impaled her, not Flowey. If the player aborted a Genocide Route before finishing Steamworks, the dialogue is changed. Martlet feels like she can still sense good in Clover, despite feeling proven right that humans are the enemy, and despite contemplating the plan of using her syringe. She questions her own judgement, and says that even if Clover shoots her now, they will never get past Asgore. She then pleads with Clover to put an end to the death, and come live a "happy, violence-free childhood" by staying with her. Before they can leave, she is killed by Flowey impaling her, and dies believing Clover was responsible. Pacifist Snowdin Encounter Martlet becomes confused when Clover does not attack first and tries to understand by reading her Royal Guard guidebook. When Clover still does not attack, Martlet loses the urge to fight and instead pushes Clover to insult her. When Clover finally does, Martlet tells them she is very close to losing her job and that another misstep will get her fired. With this in mind, Martlet suggests hiding Clover to not lose her position and to get Clover home. She escorts them to the U.G Aviator and joins Clover down the ride through Waterfall. Shortly, however, Martlet and Clover are separated after the U.G Aviator crashes. Wild East Upon arriving at the Wild East, Clover and Martlet will be confronted by the Feisty Five. While Clover is taken in for deputy training, Martlet spends the entire chapter located in the town’s jail due to them not believing her to be a Royal Guard. Once Starlo is bested and talked down, Martlet heads back to Snowdin to not be late. After successfully traversing the Steamworks, Clover is taken back to the Wild East while Starlo pursues Ceroba. Martlet is then informed by Moray of the Feisty Four in order to aid Clover in investigating Ceroba’s home, and upon discovering Chujin's recordings, instructs Clover to meet her on the roof of the UG Apartments Complex. From here, both of them leave to pursue Ceroba and Starlo to New Home. Apartment Complex → New Home Clover and Martlet both take the elevator up to New Home, where they both discover Ceroba and Starlo standing on a balcony, arguing over the morality of Ceroba’s quest. After listening in to their conversation, Martlet and Clover interfered their argument to aid Starlo in driving Ceroba of her quest. Ceroba knocks out both Martlet and Starlo before engaging Clover in a final showdown. Both do not recover until the fight ends. If Ceroba is spared after the fight, Martlet and Starlo attempt to find a new alternative to Clover offering their SOUL to them, but could not overrule Clover's decision. She is later seen in the end credits giving corn to Dalv at his new house. Later at Waterfall, she reveals to have put her two week notice for the Royal Guard before placing Clover’s Hat in the U.G Aviator, along with Dalv, Starlo and Ceroba, and sending them down a river, saying her last goodbyes. If Ceroba is killed, Martlet tries to cheer Clover up after Starlo’s departure, and continues with them to Asgore. She attempts to convince him to let Clover go back to the surface, before reluctantly leaving the room at Clover’s request. Genocide Snowdin Encounter When first encountering Clover in Snowdin, Martlet shows concern about them being left behind. After offering to help Clover catch up with the others, a battle begins the two. Although not wanting to fight at first, thinking they're just scared due to the current looming threat, after being attacked 3 times she realizes that Clover is the reason behind the Evacuations, which causes her to begin attacking. Upon reaching low HP, Martlet stops the fight, asking Clover to lower their weapon before warning them about the consequences of their actions if they continue killing and flies away. Wild East Encounter Martlet and Clover run into each other on the path to the right of the playground. Here, she tries to reason with Clover, before they step forward, cutting her off. She then warns them about how the Royal Guard searching for them and how she thinks Clover can still fix things. Clover pulls their gun out, so she warns them about how they won't get away with what they've done before flying away. Apt. Complex Roof Encounter Martlet Apartment Complex Roof cutscene screenshot Martlet injecting herself with serum to transform into a more powerful form Martlet can be seen staring at the core, before turning to face Clover. After being brought into battle, she monologues about how she wanted to believe humans were good, sharing her regrets about not trying harder to stop Clover but how she knew the chance of her succeeding was slim. She then pulls out a syringe containing an unspecified substance (implied to be either Determination or leftover extract Chujin got from the Integrity SOUL), telling Clover that they should've finished her when they had the chance before injecting it into her left wing. A second passes, before she drops to the ground. Her body soon begins transforming, causing her old wings to erupt into much larger, galaxy textured wings, her feet to turn into that of a falcon's, and her hair grows much longer. She flies into the air, out of frame, before slowly gliding back into frame, revealing a metal chest piece that can only be damaged by the SOUL blaster. After letting out a screech, signifying a battle cry, she attacks. After her chest piece's health is depleted, she falls to the ground before the screen fades to white and the chest piece can be heard shattering. A flashback then ensues, showing her telling Chujin about how she got a job as a Royal Guard, posted near Hotland. Shortly after, it cuts to a conversation between Alphys and Martlet, before another cut to Martlet standing infront of the true lab door. It fades to black as she enters the true lab, muttering "Humans are dangerous..." as the flashback ends. After talking more damage, Martlet takes a fighting stance, using both her wings as fists as she prepares to fight once more. With her chest piece gone, she may now take damage from Clover's weapon as well as the SOUL blaster. As her health depletes, her body's integrity begins to waver, and cracks form in the starry grid behind her. When Martlet loses all of her health, she asks Clover how many it'd take for them to be satisfied, calling them an unjust maniac. She attempts to say something else, beginning with "I hope you-" but is cut short when she starts losing color and melts rapidly. =============================================== Kanako (aged up):Appearance Kanako is a young, anthropomorphic, and fox-like monster with brown fur and a short snout. She has reddish brown hair that is tied up with a red ribbon in a bun. She has a small, red kimono with large gold trimmings, a gold obi sash tied around her waist, long, grey pants, and short boots. Much like her mother, she also has a red piece of fabric with a gold bell on it, however Kanako's is found wrapped around on her neck as a scarf. Personality We do not see much of Kanako, but from the flashbacks provided we are able to determine that Kanako was courageous, loving, and always attempted to do what she thought was right. She willingly (or unknowingly) risked her life for her father's experiments, showcasing these in full force. These traits are also present in her parents, explaining Main Story Neutral Route If the Neutral Route is activated early on, not much is mentioned about Kanako. If it is activated through a aborted Pacifist run (not Flawed Pacifist), you can get a few more details about Kanako. Regardless, you can only get portions of information from the Pacifist Route by choosing this route due to Ceroba having no interest in a nonpure soul, therefore not initiating her fight. Pacifist Route Clover never meets Kanako directly, however can see a couple of glimpses of the past with her and Ceroba during Ceroba's battle flashbacks. These showcase, some point after Chujin's death, her discovering his tapes in the basement; she then learns about his plans to make the serum. Despite many stern warnings from her mother, Kanako eventually convinces her to inject her soul with the extract to help her father's plans, with the intent to then extract the serum from her, however she fell down almost immediately after the injection, causing the plan to fail. It is said that she was sent to Alphys' lab by the time Clover enters the Underground. Genocide Route Kanako is absent from this route as a whole due to the only encounter with Ceroba being her boss fight. Relationships Ceroba Ketsukane Ceroba is Kanako's mother. Kanako seems to have a good relationship with Ceroba, as she trusts Ceroba to test Chujin's work on her to fulfill her father's final wish. Ceroba also talks to Clover about Kanako and shows them a picture of her when they take a moment to rest in the Steamworks in the Pacifist Route. Chujin Ketsukane Chujin is Kanako's father. Kanako is shown to have loved her father very much, as she agrees for Ceroba to test Chujin's work on her even though he specifically requested for Kanako to have nothing to do with it in his final tape for Ceroba. Chujin programmed a custom "Surface Simulator" videogame for Kanako, it can be found in her room by checking the videogame console. Dalv While their relationship is never stated, a drawing of Dalv appears in Kanako's room. It's also strongly implied that Dalv is the monster Kanako was with during the Snowdin Attack, based on his dialogue during his fight, and the drawings depicting Integrity's fate that appear in the Dark Ruins under certain Fun Values. It's theorized that Kanako was the one bringing Dalv corn, however this is not confirmed. Starlo While not much is stated of their relationship, Ceroba mentions that she went to the Feisty Five's house and watched "Aerobics 4 Five" video tapes with Starlo. Ceroba cuts herself off before going into detail, however. As mentioned by Dina: Kanako liked to come hang out around The Feisty Five when Ceroba was around The Wild East. ============================================================ mooch:Mooch is the only one in the group that commits crimes, this being pickpocketing and thievery. She is sneaky and is the representative of the S in Feisty, which stands for Sneakiness. As Ace stated, she is the only one that never oversteps her boundaries. She likes shiny items, as she remarks that the gun that North Star gave to Clover is awfully shiny. Mooch sometimes makes sarcastic remarks, since she tells Ace to not be so kind when he doesn’t even ask for her help in the Feisty Four battle. It is also implied in the neutral route that Mooch is the youngest member of the posse, since Dina doesn’t let her sneak a drink. ============================================================ Dina:Profile Appearance Dina is a woman with tan skin and reddish-purple hair. She most resembles an armadillo with her chestplate and ears. Instead of a traditional scarf, she has multiple real snakes (not monsters) wrapped around her neck that wiggle around aimlessly. Personality Much like the other fellas in the Wild East, Dina here has the demeanor of a western character, frequently saying howdy among other things. She's also far more relaxed than the other characters, not holding any ill will towards Clover in the Neutral/Pacifist route. Though like other vendors, she does get annoyed when Clover attempts to sell things to her. She seems to have a soft spot for animals, adopting snakes named Ann, Sammy and Bert that she found in them crevasses in the Dunes. She mostly has them to keep her company while business is slow in the saloon. Despite other monsters thinking it's weird, she instead finds it to be cute. Main Story Neutral Route Dina runs the saloon in the Wild East. Pacifist Route Genocide Route Dina is one of the only residents who didn't evacuate, but is present at the other side of the saloon instead of manning the bar, allowing Clover to take items and steal from the shop for 100g. This also allows you to take the Adult Soda, which Dina would usually prevent you from having. When talked to, she expresses her grief for the loss of Starlo and Ceroba, telling Clover that while she despises them, she knew she'd die and doesn't engage in battle. Dialogue Before buying something Howdy Howdy, human! Take a gander at my wares! Hard-hittin' stuff is off-limits! [Upon entrance] Not interested I take it. [Upon exiting a menu] Buy Here's the menu! [While purchasing] Much appreciated! [On purchase] Your funds'r insufficient, kid. [If not enough G] Quit carryin' so much! [If inventory is full] Sell This is a bar, not a marketplace... Try Blackjack down the road if you wanna barter. Sell (again) I already told ya to ask Blackjack about sellin'. Talk What do ya wanna know? [This Town] Oh this little place? It's pretty fun 'round here. I heard it was established some years back when the Dunes gained its name if you get me. I should be polished on its history but Star don't talk 'bout those days. I was lookin' for a friendly environment to share my brewin' skills, so here I am. There ain't terribly much to do in this town but that only makes it more close-knit. Every day has been pretty predictable until you showed up. I'm eager to see what Star's plannin'. [Your snakes] Haha, I get this question a lot. These fellas are my pets. Real reptiles, not monsters. Their names are Ann, Sammy, and Bert. The Underground still houses some critters from the Surface like birds and insects. I found these west of here, hidin' in a crevasse of sorts. Some monsters think keepin' pets is strange but I think it's cute. They give me someone to talk to when business is slow. [Can I leave?] You can at any time. Won't hurt my feelin's. Oh... I see. Star's tryin' to keep you here since it's a big deal and all. That ain't right if you're wantin' to go. I try not to infringe on sheriff business but I'll ask him 'bout it soon. I'm sure he means well by it! [North Star] What a character! Our big and courageous sheriff. I get a feelin' he ain't as tough as he likes to play up. But then again, maybe he's just clumsy. His whole posse is a hoot. They frequently host parties here. He definitely knows the right kind of monsters to surround himself with. Not to mention Ceroba, his childhood friend. I get a kick out of her and Star's antics. When she brings her daughter into town, it's basically two against one, haha! Now that I think about it, it's been a while since I saw the rascal. We really need to get the whole gang together again! [Trying to Talk after the Feisty Four leave Starlo] It’s probably not the best time to chat. Real worried ‘bout everythin’ goin’ on right now. [Feisty Five] Was all the drama settled? It was real rough out there. The Five are like siblin's, ya know? Every now and then a spat rears its head. 'Course, most of the time it's somethin' like Mooch stealing Ed's hat or Star forgettin' to turn off his "mission machines" out in the Dunes. This was uh... This was a step above. It ain't my business but I'm sure it'll all smooth over in time... 'least I hope. Family, right? [Kanako] Ceroba's little troublemaker. Real cute kid. She likes to hand 'round us and the Five when her mom's in town. Looks dang intimidatin' in a cowboy hat too, that's for sure. Little older and she would fit right into our group! Though I don't think Ceroba would allow it seein' as we might not be the best influence, haha. Anyway, I been meanin' to ask Ceroba where Kanako's been. School field trip maybe? She does like to travel 'round the Underground. Though I wouldn't think she'd be allowed too far ever since... Ah, well, I could tell stories for hours but that's the gist of it, heh... [Government] Heard fears of Royal's bargin' into town? Your presence did cause a stir. Only natural. The government takes human business seriously. Very seriously... I'm sure you've been hunted and attacked a hundred times by now. Happens every once in a while when a human falls down here. Man, if I didn't have a business to upkeep I'd let whoever's wronged you have it! [Government (NEW)] Hey, if you're worried the town's gonna be ransacked, I wouldn't be. Royal's don't come 'round here often. I don't think they much care what we do. To my knowledge, last time any representative showed up was to post a flier on the news board. A notice for some kinda new healthcare program. Ol' Fluffybuns and his posse aren't exactly the most active group. Other than chasin' the odd human, I don't think they have anything else to spend their time on. It seems monsterkind has peaked in a way, so I reckon everyone should just come out here and spend their G on a slice of the Surface! Haha. [Chujin] Oh, Ceroba's partner? Um, well, kind of a heavy subject... He never really came 'round this town back in the day. Didn't like what it stood for. Not that the tension was one-sided. Whether it was politics or an unburied hatchet, Star didn't speak highly of the fella neither. There was one time though... It was after hours - no one here but me. BAM! Front doors swing open and in walks Chujin. He was breathin' heavy, worn n' rugged... Unusual for a cleancut monster of science. I didn't think he drank but nevertheless, he sat down and ordered a cold one. I asked if somethin' was the matter but all he said was, "I believe I've seen a ghost." Weird, huh? Like... a monster? Couldn't be what he meant, right? Who knows... Shoot, I've said too much haven't I? All in all, I wouldn't bring him up 'round Star or Ceroba. There's a lotta feelin's there, ya know... [Chujin (NEW)] Sorry but I need to be more careful of what beans I spill. It ain't becomin' to spread gossip while a widow's still in mourning. Exit Have fun out there! [Upon exiting] Genocide Route ...I ain't gonna make you a drink if that's what you want. I know what you did...Naive fool...I tried to warn him. And Ceroba...She lost to you? You must be feelin' real lucky. ... I have nothin' but hatred runnin' through me, but I know I wouldn't stand a chance. So here I am, cooped up while everyone else... If you aren't going to kill me, let me mourn my family in peace. Star might've only been a target to you but... He was more of a hero than you'll ever be. Now... Get out of my Saloon. ============================================================================ Honeydew shopkeeper: Appearance The Honeydew Shopkeeper resembles a pinkish bear. She wears an olive coat resembling a baker's uniform. Personality The Honeydew Shopkeeper is a bubbly service employee, albeit new to Honeydew Lodge as evidenced by her forgetting her lines. She also seems stressed out at times, such as when the player first talks to her, brings up the Honeydew Resort, or seemingly forgetting which grandfather created the resort. The latter of which causes the shopkeeper to bury her head in her arms. She seems to have a thing for Dalv, mentioning in her conversation about him that she wanted to talk to him, but the thought of socializing was stressful, before he returned back to the Dark Ruins. Main Story Neutral Route The Honeydew Shopkeeper can be encountered behind the bar in the Honeydew Lodge. Pacifist Route Genocide Route The Honeydew Shopkeeper stays the same as in the Neutral route, but after the kill count is exhausted she disappears. Dialogue Before buying something W-welcome to the Honeydew Resort! Please, look around. (was that the line?) [Upon entrance] Does it look bad? [Upon exiting a menu] Buy Anything look good? [While purchasing] Thanks, stranger! [On purchase] Sorry, you need more money... [If not enough G] Looks like you're full... [If inventory is full] Sell I appreciate the offer, but... My dad would ground me if I bought items off strangers. That's what he always told me. "Don't buy items off strangers." Heh heh... heh... Sell (again) I already declined... Was... was I not nice enough? Over a year of working here and I still screw everything up. Talk You w-want to talk? [This resort] Um... Well... This resort has been a family business for years. We use local honey in all of our goodies while providing a warm place to visit. It was started by my great-great-uncle back in... Or was it my great-great-grandfather... I... I can't answer this customer's simple question! I'm not cut out for this job. [This resort (NEW)] So uhh, more about this place... Our amenities are neat! The honey cooler, our coveted latte machine... Oh, and the space heater! That's a special one! It was donated to us by a real nice engineer by the name of Chujin! His apprentice helped as well. He worked in the Steamworks ages ago when it was, ya know... operational. Of course, everyone around here knew him for his generosity and soft smile. Always wanted to make people feel welcome! The heat from the machine often reminds me of those days... I hope it does you too! If... you were there, which you weren't... I'll shut up now. [How's business?] It's better than ever. This is the place to be in Snowdin! Some come for the band, some for the hotspring... But the monsters love our coffee the most. I don't blame them one bit. It's a sweet blend of coffee beans, hazelnut creamer, and honey, straight from the forest. I've already had thirteen cups this morning! [The band] The band? Let's see... We have a few acts that come here to play. The band is a very popular one from Hotland. Oh! You should TOTALLY hear their new single. I especially love the chorus! It's so good and- and... Oh no. I've just been talking about what I like. You must be so bored... This is why I don't like conversations. [Dalv] That name rings a bell. Hmm... Oh, I remember! Strange little guy. He would often visit here, sit down, and watch the band. It looked like he was in a trance every time he watched them. I always wanted to talk to him, but... The thought of socializing that much always scared me... Before I could muster the courage, he suddenly stopped visiting. I wonder where he went? If you see him, be sure to tell him he's always welcome here! [Royal Guard] You don't know what the Royal Guard is? Why they're the peacekeepers of the Underground! They set up stations all around and keep watch for wrongdoers. Typically, they handle small stuff. Schemers and scammers, you know. But then there are the big jobs. Jobs that don't come around very often.
