She smiles up at him, running her fingers through his sweaty hair. Her eyes shine with a newfound happiness and contentment that Jacob knows she hasn't felt in a long time. As they lie there together, spent and satisfied, the sound of Jimmy's car pulling into the driveway fades into the distance, unnoticed and irrelevant in the afterglow of their passionate encounter.

Maybe... just maybe... we can make this work, she murmurs softly before drifting off to sleep, her head resting on Jacob's shoulder.

And so they begin. Angela and Jacob spend the next several days together, exploring their newfound connection and finding ways to make each other happy. They go out on dates, stay in and watch movies, even spend time with Jimmy, trying to ignore the tension that still exists between them. But no matter where they are or what they're doing, there's an undercurrent of desire and intimacy that binds them together now.

As Valentine's Day draws closer, Angela finds herself wondering if this is really what she wants.

"Then let's see where fate takes us," she murmurs, leaning in to kiss him. Her tongue darts out to tease him, tangling with his as their mouths move together in a hungry dance of desire. Her fingers trail lightly up his thigh before wrapping around him, guiding him toward her waiting entrance.

"Come inside me," she whispers against his lips. "Let's see what happens next."

Their lovemaking is fierce and passionate, as if they know this might be their only chance to find something real together. His thrusts grow deeper, more urgent as he pushes inside her, claiming her body once again. Her nails scratch lightly down his back, urging him onward.

"Fuck me," she moans, arching her back off the bed. "Don't stop."
