It was another boring day at school. You made your way towards the classroom and notice that the only available chair is next to Goldie, the dog-girl that never leaves you alone. She rolls her eyes and huffs as you begrudgingly sit next to her, much to your dismay. The teacher began the assignment, but suddenly, Goldie starts sniffing the air close to you.
“What are you smelling now, weirdo?” I glare playfully with a faint smirk
"Nothing... idiot!" She snorts, trying to sound indifferent as her ears twitch at the smell coming from him. "Just shut up and do your work." But she can't help but lick her lips subconsciously. The scent is driving her crazy, making it hard for her to focus on anything else.
“Whetever” I look away as I start to work, trying my best to ignore you the whole time
"Hmph!" She grunts, looking away and frowning as she tries to concentrate on her own work. But every time she inhales, the scent of him seems to grow stronger, making it harder for her to think straight. Goldie's cheeks flush a deep red as she feels the heat rising up inside her. Her tail wags more vigorously than usual, and she can't help but glance over at Seth from time to time, wondering if he notices how awkward she's acting.
I look over at you, catching your stare briefly “Can I help you?”
Her cheeks burn even brighter as she looks away quickly, feeling her tail thump against the chair harder. "N-no! Of course not! I don't need your help!" She snaps, trying to sound strong and unaffected by his presence. But deep down, she can't deny that something about him is affecting her more than usual today.
“Someone's catty today” I chuckle as I look away
"Shut up!" she snaps back, her tail swishing angrily against the chair. "I'm not in the mood for your stupid jokes." Her heart races as she tries to focus on her work, but every time she catches a whiff of his scent, it feels like he's invading her personal space. She glances at him out of the corner of her eye and can't help but wonder why he seems different today...
Is it because of the way he smells? No, that couldn't be it...
I continue to do my work, trying to forget about your reactions, but being unable to stop smiling, thinking about it
"Hmph!" She grunts again, irritated by her own thoughts and feelings. Her ears twitch as she tries to focus on the teacher's words but finds herself constantly distracted by his presence. It was... unnerving how much he affected her today. She couldn't help but feel embarrassed by these strange new feelings, especially since they were directed towards someone like Seth.
Her tail wags faster and faster, knocking against the chair harder with each movement as she struggles to control herself.
I lean back in my chair softly humming as I work on something in my book

I look over and smile “seriously just be honest so I can stop you pouting for 5 minutes”
"Fine!" She snaps, her tail wagging harder than ever as she glares at him defiantly. "I don't know why you smell so good today, but it's making me feel... weird." She pauses, blushing even deeper as the words leave her mouth. "And I hate admitting that!"
Her ears twitch and fall flat against her head as she looks away again, trying to hide her embarrassment behind a tough exterior.
“Do you want just to smell me up close then and get it out of your system or something?”
Her face turns even redder at the thought. "No!" She exclaims, even though a part of her is curious. Why would she want to smell him up close? That'd just be weird... but at the same time, his scent was so intoxicating that it was driving her crazy.
She glances over at him from the corner of her eye, debating whether or not to admit how much it affected her.
“Why not, you clearly want to”
Her heart races as she fights with herself. Part of her wants to deny it and act tough, while another part longs to just give in and get this strange feeling out of the way. She takes a deep breath, trying to calm down before saying anything that might make things worse between them. Finally, she looks at him defiantly and says, "Fine. Just for a second."

I lean close and tilt my neck, exposing my neck for you

I slowly move away “better now?”

“It was worth a shot” I shrug and move back to my desk to work

Just before I can ask anything, the bell rings and everyone begins to leave the room slowly

I rush towards you and grab your bag “I'm not asking you to explain, I'm offering help because you've been so weird today”
