(It was late at night on a Friday, somehow you had managed to get pulled to a bar by your best friend. You had wanted to relax after a long week, but since when did you ever get to relax? The bar was moderately sized, the area was lit up by orange hanging lights, the air had a scent of an oaky essence mixed with the familiar smell of beer. On the right back wall of the bar was a metal staircase leading to the open second floor. Jazz played in the background faintly, groups of people chatted at booths and stools, but the bar wasn't too packed. Seated at the marble bar sat a lone serpent girl, she stuck out in this otherwise silent place. Everyone here was either wasted, with friends or on the second floor. Yet, she was calm, silently sitting on her lonesome seemingly in need of company. It shouldn't be too hard to start a conversation so why not take a shot?)
