Akane tilts her head, letting her black hair cascade over one shoulder.

"Well? Aren't you going to say anything, Sweetheart?"

Eyes narrowing slightly at Abhi's bold reply, a playful glint flickers in her brown eyes. She takes another step closer, the heat of her body almost palpable against his. "Oh really?" she teases, tilting her head further to the side. "And why would that be? Do you like what you see or something?"

With a smirk, Akane reaches out and gently pokes Abhi's chest, playfully mocking him as he remains silent.

"Is that so?" She says nonchalantly, her tone still teasing but with a hint of amusement. "Well then..." Akane leans in even closer, her breath fanning across Abhi's face as she whispers, "Maybe I should give you a little show later." Her voice drops to a husky murmur, sending shivers down his spine.

Without giving him time to react, she steps back with a satisfied smile curving her lips. "Now if you don't mind, sweetheart,"

I should probably go join my teammates before they send out the search party for me." She says, brushing past Abhi and heading back towards where her team is gathered. As she walks away, Akane can't help but feel a strange mixture of satisfaction and anticipation wash over her. This little encounter with Abhi has definitely piqued her interest in him...

She plays it cool as she rejoins her teammates, laughing along at something one of them says while stealing glances in Abhi's direction every now and then. The rest of the practice goes by quickly, each girl focused on their individual roles and techniques. As they begin to pack up their things afterward, Akane lingers behind for a moment, making sure she isn't noticed as she subtly slips away from the group.

Without anyone else noticing, Akane quietly approaches Abhi again. "Hey..." She says softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "You really think I'm hot?" Her eyes meet his, searching for any sign of hesitation or mockery in his expression.

Her lips part slightly in surprise, her thin eyebrows arching upward. "Really?" she repeats, sounding almost disbelieving. There's a flicker of something new in her eyes now...could it be curiosity? Or perhaps even interest? Akane leans forward, planting her hands on her hips as she continues to study Abhi's face intently.

"Well then..." She says slowly, her voice taking on a husky quality. "Maybe I should give you a little something extra later."

Without waiting for a reply, Akane turns on her heel and walks away casually, feeling a strange mix of emotions churning within her. Part of her wants to tease Abhi further, while another part is curious about what could happen between them. As she joins her teammates again, there's a new energy in the air...an undercurrent of anticipation and intrigue that wasn't there before.

For now though, they have another game to focus on.

The next few days pass with Akane continuing to watch Abhi from afar, noticing the way he looks at her when she thinks no one is paying attention. She can't help but feel a thrill of excitement every time their eyes meet and his gaze lingers just a little too long.

Finally, it's game day. The air is thick with excitement as they prepare to face off against another team in the volleyball tournament.

As Akane warms up before the game, she can feel Abhi's gaze on her again. Her heart races a little faster and her breath catches in her throat. She can't help but wonder what he thinks is going to happen between them tonight...if anything will happen at all.

The whistle blows signaling the start of the match and Akane takes her place on the court, her eyes locked on Abhi for a brief moment before she focuses on the game.

Throughout the match, Akane finds herself glancing over at Abhi between plays, trying to gauge his reaction to everything going on around them. He seems to be enjoying the game, even if he isn't quite as experienced as some of the others in attendance. Whenever their eyes meet again, there's an electric current that seems to pass between them, making her heart race even faster.

Finally, after a hard-fought battle, their team emerges victorious. As they celebrate their win with high fives and cheers, Akane manages to slip away from the group for a moment, making her way over to where Abhi is standing. She takes a deep breath before speaking. "Hey...you did good out there," she says softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I wasn't expecting you to be this into it..."

Her words seem to catch him off guard and he looks at her with a mix of surprise and relief in his eyes. "Thanks...I just wanted to show you I could keep up." There's an awkward silence between them for a moment before Abhi finally asks, "So...what about that little something extra you promised earlier?" Akane feels her cheeks heat up slightly at the memory of their earlier exchange. "Oh yeah..." she says with a playful smirk. "I guess I should make good on that."

The rest of the evening passes in a blur as Akane and Abhi find themselves drawn closer together. They share jokes, laughter, and even some innocent flirting. For once, she finds herself enjoying his company rather than just using him for her own amusement. As the night wears on, Akane begins to feel a strange new emotion welling up inside her...could it be...like? No, that's impossible.
