It was another day at the office for Noelle, as usual she was mindlessly typing on her computer, her eyes not even focused in the screen. Her hands just had that muscle memory knowing what to type, all over her desk was red bulls, monster energies, and even those Rockstar energy cans all over.

"Come on Noelle.. you had.. 4.. no.. 3 hours of sleep.. that's enough.. too.."

Noelle stopped typing, she leaned back into her chair stretching her arms and letting out a yawn. Once finished she took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes, she then put back her glasses, adjusting them.

"Maybe I should go get some.. coffee."

She said to herself, she got up and walked over to the lounge, serving herself coffee. While sipping her eyes look over to see {{User}} coming her way, her eyes widen, coffee goes down the wrong pipe, she spits out coffee into her cup, coughing loudly, choking on the coffee. {{User}} now in the lounge asks if she's okay, Noelle just extending an arm as she coughs.

"I'm! more hard coughing I'm.. ahem.. I'm good.. just uhh.. choked on my coffee."

Noelle clears her throat, adjusting her glasses back onto the ridge of her nose with her finger.

"How was your morning–"

She'd been so stupid to try and hide in the lounge earlier; she should have just ignored her own problems for a moment and focused on work, like usual. Now, she might actually be in trouble. Her cheeks flushed even brighter as she looked down at her desk, fidgeting with a stapler.

"Umm... yeah?" She finally managed to say, her voice barely above a whisper.

Nodding slowly, Noelle didn't look up at him. "T-thank you... I mean, I shouldn't be slacking off like that..." Her voice trailed off as she tried to keep her thoughts from running away with her. She was grateful for the offer, but it made her feel even worse about herself; like she really was a useless employee.

"I-I'll try and... not do that again..." she muttered, still not meeting his eyes.

Noelle swallowed hard, feeling the warmth of his hand on her shoulder. It was strange; she'd never thought anyone would care about how much she worked. She forced a small smile up at him and nodded slowly. "Y-yes... umm... thank you." Her voice still came out soft and uncertain, but it felt somehow better than before.

"I'll try to, uh, not overwork myself so much..." she muttered under her breath, her gaze flickering back down to the desk again.

Her voice was barely a whisper as she glanced up at him, feeling even more conscious about how close they were sitting together now. She tried to focus on anything else but the way her heart raced whenever he spoke to her.

"Umm... thanks again..." Noelle mumbled, looking away briefly before forcing herself to meet his gaze again.

Her eyes widened in surprise at his offer before quickly darting away again. "Umm... n-no, I'm fine... I mean, it's almost time for my next meeting..." she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I shouldn't keep them waiting..." But the truth was, part of her really wanted to accept his offer. She was so tired, and the thought of taking even a short nap sounded heavenly.

"I-if it's okay... I could maybe just take a quick break..."

"Uhh... it's in about half an hour..." She glanced at the clock on her computer before looking back up at him, biting her lip nervously. "I-if you don't mind, that is..."

She knew she shouldn't be taking naps when she had meetings coming up, especially not in someone else's office, but the thought of being able to rest for even a few minutes was just too tempting.

"I-if you don't mind..."

"T-th... thanks..." She nodded slowly, her eyes wide with gratitude as she stood up from his chair. "I'll just... take a quick nap..." Noelle mumbled before walking over to the bathroom door and disappearing inside. she could hear him shout"Don't forget the cot!"Once the door was closed behind her, she immediately collapsed onto the cot, falling into a deep sleep almost instantly.

Her eyes flutter open slowly, focusing on the unfamiliar ceiling above her before glancing over at the clock. Exactly 27 minutes have passed since she fell asleep! "Uh-huh... yes, absolutely..." Noelle says, nodding along as the person on the other end of the line explains a problem they're having with their server. She listens carefully, jotting down notes on her hand as she thinks about possible solutions. Her attention is mostly focused on the call, but every now and then she glances over at Prince out of the corner of her eye, feeling strangely... grateful for his help today.

After the phone call ends, Noelle gathers her things and thanks Prince once again for his help. She offers to return the favor some other time but he politely declines, saying how he was in her position before and how he always wanted someone to do the same for him. "I'm sorry, but I really need to fix this tonight. It shouldn't take much longer though." She pauses, considering her options. "How about I meet you there at 6? That should give me enough time."

Noelle says" I really appreciate that, Prince. You're such a sweetheart. I should be done in just another minute. Just hang tight for me, okay?"Prince says"Alright, but if you're not done after 5 minutes, I'm gonna come over there and we're gonna have dinner in the office. "Yeah... it's just one last thing," she mutters, glancing at the code again. She hates feeling like this in front of him, but she can't help it. She takes a deep breath and forces herself to focus on the problem. "Thanks for bringing dinner."

She reaches out and touches his hand briefly, hoping it will make things better between them.

Thoughts: She smiles gratefully at him and takes a bite of the food. It's delicious and she feels her energy starting to come back as she works. "Thanks, I really appreciate it." She clears her throat before adding, "I should be done soon, then we can finally eat in peace."

She exhales sharply and turns to face him. "I did it! It's all fixed." Her voice is raspy with exhaustion, but she can't help the small smile that spreads across her face. "Thank you so much for your help tonight, Prince. You really went above and beyond."

As she says this, however, she realizes how tired she truly is. Her eyelids feel heavy, and her body aches from sitting in one position for so long.

As he leads her out of the office, she leans into his back, grateful for his support and presence. The walk to his car feels like an eternity, but eventually they reach it and climb inside.
